These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of KindleTales. By using the app, you agree to these terms. KindleTales is built by the same parent company as VividAI; these terms are adapted from that company-level foundation for our kids bedtime story app.

1. Eligibility

KindleTales is intended for use by parents or guardians who create and manage accounts and child profiles. You must be of legal age to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you are a parent or guardian and that you will use the service in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use KindleTales only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm others or the service. You must not misuse the app, attempt to gain unauthorized access, upload harmful or inappropriate content, or use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others. You are responsible for how you and any child profiles under your account use the app.

3. Content ownership and license

Content provided through KindleTales (including stories and any family-recorded narration you add) is subject to our licenses and policies. You retain ownership of content you create (e.g. recordings you upload). You grant us the license we need to operate the service (e.g. to store, stream, and display content within the app). Our stories and app content remain our or our licensors' property.

4. Entertainment-only disclaimer

KindleTales is for entertainment and family use. Stories and content are not intended as professional advice (e.g. medical, legal, or educational advice). Use your own judgment when it comes to your family's needs.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Paid features may be offered through the App Store and Google Play. Payment terms are governed by those platforms and our Refund Policy. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or for other operational or legal reasons. You may stop using the app and request account deletion at any time (see our Delete Account page).

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, KindleTales and its parent company are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if any). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will indicate the effective date on this page.
